Theme Thursday-Vintage Women

Meet Pearl Hart...she was born in Canada in 1871 and grew up to be a notorious outlaw of the American Old West. Her claim to fame? She held up and robbed a stage coach! Her life has been the subject of books, films, and stage.
This is my contribution to today's Theme Thursday challenge-Vintage Women.

Theme Thursday-Quotes/Sayings

Quotes or Sayings is the prompt for today's Theme Thursday challenge. I love the timeless wit and wisdom of Will Rogers so chose his image and quote for yet another ATC to be traded on the cruise.
This entire ATC was put together with the help of the UHU stic. I have always been hesitant to use glue sticks because they never seem to stick as well as I would like them to but I have found a keeper in this one. Thanks UHU for the free sample. Theme Thursday-Orange

Today's challenge at Theme Thursday is to use the color orange. This is one of the 100 or so ATCs that I will be trading on the Tim Holtz art cruise in October. I am using a vintage western and Texas theme for all of them.
Orange toned inks used on this are TH distress inks in Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold. Stamps used are by Oxford Impressions.

Theme Thursday-Pink and Brown

This is my entry for the Theme Thursday challenge. The beautiful ballerina image is a freebie from the Whimsical World of Fairies. The sequined embellishment is vintage and hand stitched.

Theme Thursday-Flourishes

With flourishes as the subject for Theme Thursday, I chose a freebie from Clearly Vintage (thanks Cora) to highlight with a beaded flourish from Prima.

Theme Thursday-Beach-Nautical

My friend Robin sent me this gorgeous panel with the 3 chambered nautilus embossed over an alcohol ink background. I made my background by using alcohol inks to match and then embossed using the fishnet background from CHF. The black panel is crackle paint and cheesecloth. I embellished with some gems colored with AI and cheesecloth tinted with AI. This is my submission for this week's Theme Thursday challenge-beach or nautical.

Theme Thursday-Game Pieces

With game pieces being the theme of the Theme Thursday challenge today, I knew exactly which stamps I would use for an ATC. The game pieces stamp is from Stampers Anonymous. The chess piece stamp is from Artful Illusions.

Theme Thursday-Vintage Valentine

This little girl on an old Valentine was the perfect fit to peek through the heart of another old Valentine so I put them together, added some stickles and came up with my submission to today's Theme Thursday challenge of Vintage Valentines.

We're headed to the old west for this week's Theme Thursday Challenge. I chose paper from the WANTED collection by Cosmo Cricket. Barbed wire heart stamp is by Joyce Meyer and is embossed with TH distress ep.

So Happy Together

I recycled a printed logo as the background for today's Theme Thursday Challenge of happy or happiness. I stamped over the background with a weathered wood stamp from CHF. Other stamps used are from VLVS.

I took the opportunity to do another Hallowe'en tag since the theme today at Theme Thursday is vintage. The image of the little boy is from The Graphics Fairy with the bat wings from Jack and Cat Curio. Stamps are by Inkadinkado and Eureka Stamps.

We're doing numbers today on Theme Thursday. If you look closely you will see equations by his head as well as numbers on the chart across his coat (they are really tiny).The stamp is from paperartsy.

The Mum Fairy

Here is my contribution to today's Theme Thursday Challenge of flowers. Notice the violet coloring of the stamp pad that you can see the edge of under the green pad. That is the color on the card but for some strange reason, my camera doesn't see it that way.....it sees blue! Does anyone know why and what to do for it?

If you look closely there is a little fairy in the center of the mum.

For the Theme Thursday challenge we are doing hearts. I chose a stamp by Prima, stamped it on black cs with Brilliance moonlight white ink then colored with Prismacolor pencils. The tiny bling is creative candy micro dot twinkle stickers by Amuse. Paper is from daisyd's.
