Monoprints

What do you get when you combine a few bottles of acrylic paint, some cardstock, a Gelli Arts gel printing plate, some bling and a 7 year old?

ANSWER: A fun time in Grandma's studio.

These cards are the creations of my 7 year old granddaughter, Savana, who was visiting this past week during spring break.

Even though I only had a few colors of acrylic for her to play with, she came up with some nice color combinations.

This one she created by drawing lines on the gel plate with an acrylic eraser tool.

Printing on kraft paper with metallic gold and yellow acrylic paint.

I love this one!
We used molds from TENSeconds Studio for the designs on all of the prints.

The difference between watching your daughter grow and watching your granddaughter grow is that you have the time to spend with them you did not have when your children where young.
