Treasure Tuesday

Santa Mail

My dad always kept me in mind when looking through the treasures at auction houses and junque shops. This is one of his finds. I have a rather large collection of Santas and this old iron bank accessorizes them nicely. It looks as if it has been painted and the decals added but is still a cute addition to my collection.

That is cute. I sometimes think it's the accessories that really make a display interesting, kind of adding spice to the thing being collected! What a neat mailbox.

Sarah - this reminds me of some of the old banks we had when I was a child. Wish I knew where they were! I bet this looks great with your Santa collection. Thanks for sharing!

That is such a cute mailbox! It looks like it has a lot of sentimental value and that makes it even more precious!
