Charcoal Iris

One of the new stamp sets released this month at Red Rubber Designs is this beautiful set called  Charcoal Flowers.

I have chosen the iris from this set for a simple card using a fun technique.

The image has been mounted on black cardstock that has been dry embossed and adhered to a textured card. The hardware and ribbon are both available from Red Rubber Designs.

What could this technique be?  To find out, visit the Red Rubber Designs blog on Tuesday, Dec. 18 for a free downloadable tutorial.

Absolutely stunning card, and that new stamp set is gorgeous - love the botanical etching feel to it! Your elegant framing of the iris is just lovely: great drama and texture from the embossed card, and the ribbon's yummy! I'll definitely be around to check out the tutorial on Tuesday...
