Red Rubber Designs - Father's Day

I received a gift in this container and decided that it was too good to throw away so I recycled it for a Father's Day gift idea.

I removed the teal and pink papers and replaced them with papers from the Penelope Collection available at Red Rubber Designs.

The band around the container is stamped with the vintage automobile from the Just Bee-Cuz rubber stamp set.  The tag is included in the Penelope Patterned Paper Collection and has been stamped with a Father's Day sentiment from the Contemporary Greetings stamp set. I have filled the container with car washing items.

If Dad happens to be a golfer like my hubby is, the container could also hold a golf towel, some new soft spikes, tees, and golf balls. The golf guy and the sentiment is from this month's "spotlight" stamp set, Hey Life.  You can buy this set at a 25% discount this month only or you could qualify to receive it absolutely free (follow the link to see how).

If I learned one thing on this project, it was to beware of highly reflective surfaces, acetate in particular.  It is very hard to photograph! This last photo has been posterized in PSE to lessen the glare.

Sarah... this is so elegant (in a manly way!) I need to start looking a little closer to my containers before throwing them away! ;D

Sarah those both are such creative gift ideas for Fathers day, you did a wonderful job!
I so know what you mean about the acetate and glare. Can be so frustrating.

Thanks for the well wishes,I'm doing so much better and things are finally starting to come together here. Thankfully!
Have a great Memorial weekend
