Welcome to the first stop on the first blog hop for the Red Rubber Designs Design Team. On your hop through the 7 blogs listed, you will see 7 twists on the use of the fun rubber stamp She Was the Life of the Party. So, let's get started!
To be the life of the party, you need a little book to help you plan your party. I thought that the paper stack Uptown Girl was appropriate for this project. For the cover, I stamped part of the image Life of the Party on vellum, embossed with gold detail embossing powder and colored on the reverse with markers.
Inside the book you will find 5 dividers: The Details, Guest List, Decorations, Refreshments, and Shopping. The tabs were made with a 2 1/2" scalloped circle punch.
The inside cover was stamped with the paisley border from the Life of the Party rubber stamp.
After the divided sections with lined paper I included an envelope to hold receipts.
The image on the back of the envelope was again stamped on vellum, colored on the reverse but then layered over a second image that had been stamped on a light pink paper from the paper stack. The words are adhered on top of the vellum. The inside back cover has a pocket to hold business cards or more receipts.
Attached to the ribbon tassel is a charm made by stamping the featured stamp on shrink film.
How would you like to win this party planner? When you leave me a comment, just be sure to include that you would love to win so I will know to include your name in the random draw. I will announce the winner on Tuesday, March 17.
