Another Altered Domino Book

Here is the sewing related altered domino book that I made for Sandy Redburn using her products from Crafty Secrets.

I stamped the scissors, thread spool, and sentiment on almond Shrinky Dinks with black StazOn ink. Rather than going to the trouble of heating up the oven, I used my heat gun to shrink the images. I was surprised at the detail that was retained after shrinking the scissor image.

I left the dominoes their natural color and stamped a zigzag stitch around the edges.

Waxed linen thread tied in a little bow forms the closure.

Once again, as in the previous book, all of the stamps, papers and images are from Crafty Secrets.

  2. I love it! That is really neat and I kinda want to try it but I know I don't have much patience and will probably do a horrible job of it. I think I'm safer just bookmarking your post and looking at it!!!
