SAWO-Distressed Gesso BG
Another new technique for me at Saturday's Workout challenge today. You can find the tutorial for this technique here. The inks I used are TH distress in peeled paint and faded jeans on glossy cardstock.

WOW! You mastered this technique Sarah! I really like your bubbles too!
Very beautiful, Sarah!
Ha ha, I'm falling for your card HOOK, LINE, and SINKER! Nothing FISHY about that!
That background turned out beautifully! I love how you used the postage stamp for your catch!
Bee-yoo-tee-ful! I love the subtleness and the color combination - especially with the theme. My absolute favorite!
A question - what did you use to achieve the linen-y/crackle-y background look? Is it a stamp?
Thanks!
Katie Scarlett, I used the cheesecloth backgrounder stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms.
Thanks! I looke at CHF backgrounders but I think I missed the cheesecloth. A muuuuch better choice than linen or burlap. Perfect!
What a great idea. The coloured background are gorgeous.
