SAWO-Thread Technique

Here is another fun idea from Saturday's Workout.
This week it’s all about the thread technique. How does that work??? There is a really easy method: Wind a thread criss-cross around a piece of paper. After that, rub with an inkpad, glimmermist, ink etc etc etc over and across the thread, remove the thread and voila, where ever the thread was you now have a wonderful background pattern.

I used TH distress ink in peeled paint and stamps from Washi Accents and VLVS.

Sarah, your background turned out perfect. I see I need to be more deliberate in placing my yarn or thread. With the wonderful foreground image, this really makes a great card.

The neat symmetry of the threading creates a stunning focus poing, highlighted by the stamping.
