Treasure Tuesday

On Tuesdays I thought I would share some of my treasures with you. Some are from years of collecting while others have been passed down through generations.
I spent many hours as a child playing with the spools of thread in this Belding Heminway thread box.

The top drawer is full of those old wooden spools full of colorful thread. The second drawer houses needle folders, buttons, rick rack and some seam binding. The lower drawer is home to more spools as well as buttons, lace and odds and ends....I've always loved odds and ends.

This box also makes a great photo prop.

Next Tuesday I think I'll share something from my kitchen with you!

OOOh, I like that idea. I've always liked poking around people's houses -- so now I can do it via internet. Thanks for sharing -- I look forward to next weeks share!
